The performance "Inscriptions" by Amareya Theatre had its premiere at the ehxibition "Epilogue" of the works of Gdansk artist Katarzyna Józefowicz. Amareya dancers showed in a symbolic way how the information society in which we live influences our bodies. Artists were inspired by the works of Józefowicz, which explore the subject of accumulation of information in the media and means of processing this information. Amareya also explored the subject basing its work on the book by Elizabeth A. Grosz about the theory of inscripitions on the body. By means of movement, gesture, body and voice, the dancers have created an artistic comment on how our bodies function in the current world. The performance asks a question how the body can find liberation, spontaneity and innocence in information societies.
